Lucius’ Popina has now been moved across the street

You should all remember the news story I posted about the Lucius’ oddly small restaurant and Theatre getting an upgrade, right? If not, here it is.

Well now, the plans for the restaurant, Lucius’ Popina have been completed, and it looks like they’ve started on Lucius’ Colosseum. 

I’ll go over each stage of construction and then show you the completed product. 

They closed Lucius’ Popina and put up the new building very quickly, within two days they had gutted the original location and put up a shell of the new location. 

The location was right where they said it was going to be. Though, they haven’t bought the rest of the lot that it’s sitting on, allowing for something else to be put there. And I’m glad they didn’t get the resto f the lot since the Lucius already takes up an entire block, And taking up two would have been just too much for a lot of people since one block already seems to be stretching it. 

It looks like my prediction on the last post came to pass, since they did indeed fill the old restaurant area with slot machines, and you can see that they no longer have a reservation stand, instead, reservations are now made online at their website. 

The same day I found the old space filled, I also checked on the new space and they seemed to be doing good work on furnishing it, with seemingly only the kitchen being unfurnished, as well as some tables in the middle there not being added yet. 

As soon as it opened I had to go inside and check around to see what the new place looked like. It was fairly furnished on opening day, with there now being tabled in the middle of the bottom floor and on the balcony that were added after these pictures were taken. 

So it looks like for Lucius’ Colosseum, the old location will stay open during construction. With the plans they’ve announced it seems like construction on the new location will take quite a while, with the new location being located underground directly under the main building’s lot. And apparently being much, much larger than the current location, supposedly taking up almost half the length of the building underground.
