Well that’s one way to make trains

Welcome to Courdelane and It’s crazy ideas.

Henton Center

So, there’s this place in the geographic center of the city, Henton Center, and it’s very centrally located.

Location of Henton Center

And, as you can see, It’s right next to the Hospital.

All of these aspects make it very good for this current project, which is coming along very nicely.

They’ve gutted an entire floor so for the station and the new branch line that will go out from here across the lake and towards the Lucius.

The new bridge going out across the lake

The light rail bridge going across the lake

Tunnel entrance

None of this is near finished, but it’s the outline.

Now, what that tunnel leads to is very interesting.

So, you all see that track? Well, that track on the top is the light rail and down there is the metro! Pretty cool, huh?

Red= Metro. Yellow = Light Rail

That’s basically what we’re looking at here so It’ll be a lot easier to go from the Lucius and the rest of the area there to the hospital.

Construction glass!

Something I’ve noticed we do here a lot os put down ‘Construction Glass’ when the area under construction is near a public walkway. And in my case, near a tour.

Just a nice little detail there.

Sub-Article!

Why did they raise taxes AND take out a loan to pay for all this?

Oh yeah, that’s the premise today.

So, here’s the deal. Every time our taxes are raised, they have to say why they’re raised. Not sure why they do that but it helps me in this investigative journalism here.

So, when my taxes were raised recently, they said that it was for a new Light Rail line and transit center.

Makes sense.

What doesn’t make sense is that they also took out a loan to pay for it?

A God Damned palace!

The first-ever loan I know of, taken out for this?

I’d somewhat get it if they just took the loan, but they raised our taxes as well!

You guys are telling me you can afford an entire University on taxpayer dollars but not a light rail line?

There’s gotta be some kind of savings here!

“It’s all about the bottom line” -Apparently the Courdelane Government

I may be known for being confused about a lot but I really have no conflicting information here!

Beef Co. Already funds the Metro! I’m sure they’d pay for a Light Rail line!

But I guess they needed that extra 0.3% on all 70k salaries and higher to pay for this all.

I’ll probably talk more about this as more goes down, but in the meantime prepare for a post about Carson Boulevard.
