Courdelane Finally has a hospital!

I know it’s a little (very) late in the city’s life to get a hospital, but small, local medics were usually enough to keep everyone in the city healthy.

However, given the city’s recent, and very fast, growth, someone finally thought “Hmm, maybe we should have, oh I don’t know, a hospital?
And even though it’s been a while, the hospital is very much appreciated.

And so, if I may introduce you all to Courdelane Sanctuary Medical Center!

The hospital is definitely one of the larger buildings in the city simply by footprint. Here it is compared to the footprint of both the Lucius and Palace.

Yeah, quite the sizeable structure.

As for inside, it seems like I would expect a hospital to look.

Entrance into the ER.

Little medicine desk.

Small emergency room.

There are three floors of ER in total. Which seems like enough to supplement the population of Courdlelane for quite a while.

Surgery Center waiting room.

Surgery room.

Given how much ER there is, I was expecting more than three surgery rooms. And yet, here we are. They’re either going to add more to the as of yet unfinished second building, or are going to need to make expansions later since I’m not sure if 3 is quite enough.
Though, given the Medical costs, maybe not enough people will be able to afford surgery…

Oh, and speaking of the other building…

what.

So I guess they haven’t installed the lights properly in the hallways…

Another ER room.

Window room (don’t ask about the statues… I don’t know.)

At least some of the rooms have natural light.

They also have a pharmacy and long-term stay wards

I must say, the wards are quite nice.

Overall, the hospital is a much-needed and much-appreciated addition to the city. Though, in time it may not even be enough to sustain the population if growth continues at this rate.
